The Garrison

När du bor på hotell i London ingår sällan frukost i priset. Något som jag tycker är perfekt, eftersom man då kan njuta av alla de ställen som serverar massor av olika typer av frukostar.

The Garrison

Jag börjar med att tipsa om min favorit, the Garrison. En pub som ligger på 99-101 Bermondsey street, inte långt från London Bridge station och Tower Bridge. De serverar inte bara frukost utan även lunch och middag. Dessutom har de en biograf och en liten festlokal att hyra för slutna sällskap. Frukosten serveras måndag till fredag klockan 8.00 till 11.30 och lördag och söndag klockan 9.00 till 11.30. Man bör boka bord eller vara där i tid om man ska vara säker på att få en plats, det märks att stället har många stamgäster från området. Garrison Full and Proper Breakfast

Vill du äta en riktig engelsk frukost är det hit du ska gå. För £9.2 får du allt du behöver för att stå dig en hel dag. Dessutom finns den engelska frukosten i en vegetarisk variant vilket inte alltid är det lättaste att hitta. Min favorit är dock de skotska pannkakorna med färska jordgubbar.

When you stay at a hotel in London, the breakfast is not often included in the price. Something that I think is perfect, because then I can enjoy all of the places around town that serves different kind of breakfasts. 

I start to tip about my favourite, the Garrison. A pub placed on 99-101 Bermondsey Street, not far from London Bridge station and Tower Bridge. They do not just serve breakfast but also lunch and dinner. They also have a little cinema and a little local you can hire for your private party. Breakfast is served Monday to Friday between 8.00 and 11.30 and on Saturday and Sunday between 9.00 and 11.30. You should make a reservation or be there early if you want to be sure to get a table. If you want to eat a proper full English breakfast, this is the place you should go to. For £9.2 you get all the food you need for a day. You also have the full English breakfast in a vegetarian alternative, which isn’t the easiest thing to find. However, my favourite is the Scottish pancakes with clotted cream and fresh strawberries.

The owners of the Garrison also own another very good pub, where you should go in the evenings to eat dinner. I will write more about that later.
